Amager Strand is a man made beach created in 2005, a beautiful beach situated on the island of Amager in the eastern part of Copenhagen.
During summer the beach is often very crowded by danes and tourists. There are countless activities that you can do on Amager Strand.
Reaching Amager Strand is very easy and tajes just few minutes: the beach is just 4.6km from the city centre and 2km from the airport.
On Amager Strand you'll find four beach stations with toilets, showers, ice cream bars and more than 300 parking spaces.
