Nationalmuseet is the largest museum of cultural history in Denmark. It's located in the city centre in a classical 18th century mansion near the Strøget ( the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe ).

This museum tells the entire history of the danish population until today spreading on a 10.000 square metre exhibition area.

In the Nationalmuseet there's more than a standard museum: you'll find the museum shop, meeting facilities, a cinema, restaurant and a cafe.

Pushchairs and wheelchairs are available free of charge, moreover you'll find lockers, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.
