Visas, Passports and Customs

Since 2001 Denmark has joined the Schengen Agreement so that who comes from another country that is part of the Schengen Agreement isn't subject to border checks.

Obviously in the airports you'll be subject to the necessary security checks to ensure you and other travelers are safe.

Who lives in a Schengen country can enter Denmark with just a valid identity card that is valid abroad, children need to be written on parents' passports.

People that come from countries in the European Union can't take advantage of duty free sales.

Always make sure to check your airline guidelines for baggage, check-in requirements and forbidden goods.
